its sunday and i just watched x-men: wolverine origins yesterday. the movie is so damn cool that i dream im a mutant too (namanya jadi alicia newman? i can get electricity out of my body and can heal myself. freaking awesome). im too tired to post about the movie, so maybe next post when i feel like it plus my x-men dream.
anyway last comic standing is on tv and i laugh everytime which is good because math is stressing me out! :P so what i like most about american comedy is there's always the setup and the punchline, indonesia comedy is just stand up comedy or observation comedy. here's some of the punchline thingy:
comedian: hey, shut that baby would you! i'm trying to meditate!
comedian: i mean when you're texting while driving, you go on like "i gotta get home, i gotta get home, i gotta get home - oh, a text message! GAAAAAAHHH!"
comedian: there's this scary negro guy, and when he's at the club and the song played, he goes on like, "ooh, this is my song, YEAAAH" *model banci*

you can't find a stand up comedy here hahah and what makes indonesian people laugh is mostly what people do wrong accidentally (ngupingjakarta is one blog that get this kind of things). i guess indonesia people don't like to make fun of themselves like american huh? the comedians like aming or jeng kelin just used make ups and silly tones to make people laugh. -__-' but students like me usually used sarcasm to laugh, so yeah.
